Our Founder

Our Founder and CEO, Blaise Lolika, was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Witnessing firsthand the vulnerability of women and children in conflict-affected communities deeply shaped his commitment to humanitarian service.

In 2000, he immigrated with his family to Tucson, Arizona (United States), where he has lived ever since. His personal journey, combined with his professional experience in healthcare and community support, strengthened his belief that women and children affected by crises deserve protection, dignity, and opportunities to rebuild their lives. Guided by this vision, he founded Global Assistance for Women &Children, Inc. (GAWC).

Today, GAWC works to deliver life-saving humanitarian assistance, compassion, and hope to women, children, and families affected by conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo, supporting access to healthcare, protection services, and community resilience.
